How it started
Hugo and Manuela started WiseWerk together. Over the years we have worked with many agencies, and we have seen from the inside how the system works, the good and the bad.

WiseWerk was started around 2019–2020 in Eindhoven by Hugo and his mother, Manuela Carvalho. We help people move to the Netherlands for work, and we help employers find people who stay.

Manuela’s story
When Manuela arrived in the Netherlands she had to go through the agencies herself, and she had to tough it out. It was really hard. That is why she understands what candidates go through, and why it shapes how we treat people.
Before, during and after
We help people before the process, during the process and after it. Sometimes we also help people who are not working with us. They are people in another country who often do not know what they deserve or what their rights are, and we want to help them find the best option.
Fast when it has to be
Sometimes people need to come and find a job really fast. We can help in an emergency, but we are honest about it: when something has to be arranged ultra fast, it can mean sacrificing some of the quality of the job.
Good for the person. Good for the client.
We always go all the way to find what is best for the candidate and what is best for the client. We do not want bad employees and we do not want bad clients. We want long-term placements.
Where we work
We live and work in Eindhoven. Most jobs are in Eindhoven, Tilburg and the rest of North Brabant, which is our area of expertise. Our work is mostly in logistics, production, assembly and technical roles. We have only a little in hospitality (Horeca).
