Moving to the Netherlands
Plain-language guides for the first weeks and your rights at work.
Can I apply for these vacancies?
The vacancies on this private preview are clearly labelled examples, and applications are not open yet. Once real vacancies are available, each will have the employer, the conditions and how to apply.
Do I have to speak Dutch?
That depends on the role. Each vacancy shows the language needed. Read it and ask what level you need for daily tasks.
Do I need to know exactly what work I want?
No. Start with your experience, your interests, your availability and what matters to you. It gives our first conversation a direction.
Do I need a CV to ask a question?
No. You can use the contact form without a CV. Please do not share identity documents or medical information through the form.
Do I pay for my ticket to the Netherlands?
Yes. The ticket is not included, so you pay for it yourself. If you need a pickup from the airport we can arrange it, and normally the agency takes care of that.
Can you help if I am not working with you?
Yes, we try to. Many people abroad do not know their rights, and we are happy to point you in the right direction. Send us your question.
How fast can I start?
It depends on your documents, your situation and the vacancy. If you need to start very fast we can look at that, but a very fast placement can mean a less ideal job. We will be honest about this.
Does WiseWerk arrange housing?
This preview does not confirm housing. If a vacancy includes housing, the provider, the cost and the conditions must be clear in writing before you decide.
Who receives my message?
Messages from this private preview are saved in the WiseWerk Studio inbox, which only the owner can open. Automatic emails are not connected yet.
I am looking for staff. Where do I start?
Read the employer page, choose Employer in the contact form and describe the role, the location and the start date.
