Ask about four things
1The workTasks, hours, shifts, place
2The moneyPay, holiday pay, deductions
3The contractEmployer, length, phase
4Housing and travelCost, conditions, pickup

About the work

1. What will I do on a normal day?

2. What hours and shifts will I work, and are nights or weekends included?

3. Where exactly is the workplace, and how do I get there?

About the money

4. What is the hourly or monthly gross pay, and how often am I paid?

5. How is holiday pay handled?

6. What will be deducted from my pay, for example housing or insurance?

About the contract

7. Who is my employer, the agency or the company?

8. What kind of contract is it, how long, and which phase applies?

9. What happens when the placement ends?

About housing and travel

10. If housing is included: what does it cost, where is it, who do I share with, and what happens if I lose the job? And who pays for travel and how do I get from the airport?

Get the answers in writing

Ask for the answers in writing before you travel. A good agency or employer will be happy to explain. If an answer is unclear or you feel pressured, that is worth knowing before you book a ticket.

Honest about conditions

This is how we work too. Short stays are not worth it for anyone, so we try to be as honest as we can about conditions, and we stay available if there is a question or problem later.
